8 Great Easy, Big Yum, Campfire Cookout Recipes!

6. CAMPFIRE BLUEBERRY COBBLER!

A SWEET and possibly one of the EASIEST camping treats! Only 4 ingredients needed! Take 4 cups of fresh and washed blueberries and stir well with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour. Pour this mixture into an 8 inch square disposable aluminum baking pan and cook for 10 minutes (covered). After 10 minutes, check the blueberry mixture and stir. Continue to cook 5-10 minutes more until the berries are soft and plump. Some of the berry juice may have filled the pan, too. Place the Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk biscuits (1 can refrigerated) on top of the berr mixture and spread it as one layer. Cover and cook 5-10 minutes until the biscuits look done and whaola! Looks sooooo good! I bet you could use small, round disposable aluminum pans with 1-2 biscuits and make mini cobblers. I think I’ll try the same recipe with peaches substituted for blueberries. Campfire peach cobbler sounds yummy, too.
