Products

These days, we find comfort traveling with our beloved GPS. It finds everything we need from lodging, to food and gas with just a few taps on the screen.  All of our electronics usually save the day when we’re searching for something. Sometimes, an old school tool can become an invaluable back up navigation device. This tool in particular is “the Next Exit” book! We’ve always had this handy book ever since our first RV travels and we still rely on it to this day. You may have seen this book at a Camping World store or gas/truck stop. We’ve even found it at a Cracker Barrel and a Walmart. Here’s what the current edition 2015 looks like:

Here’s the scoop:

This book, “the Next Exit” is an Interstate Highway Guide for the USA that lists services such as gas, food, lodging, rest stops, etc.. Services that are RV accessible are printed in red. Check out some example listings that you’ll find in this guide:

How it Works:

States are listed alphabetically with the state name at the page top with a portion of the state map. The Interstate Highway Number is printed in the black bar.  Cities are listed on the side gray bar. Exit numbers and mile markers are in bold. RV accessible services are printed in RED.

We rely on “the Next Exit” when we may not have consistent internet service while driving and/or if we just want to know what’s coming up at the next exit! Gotta eat! The book is priced at $17.95. We continue to put it to good use!
